My name is Mikayla Thomas, I have lived in Union for almost two years now with my soon-to-be husband Mack and our two Samoyeds - Laoi and Juno. Professionally, I am a Web Developer for an advertising agency based in Lincoln, NE. With Web Development being both my passion and my profession, I opted to serve the community of Union by assuming the role of Editor for our local website. In the coming months, I hope to make several improvements to the site that will increase accessibility and usability for all users.

I live in the Village of Union with my husband and our 4 young children. Our family loves living in a small town and having the opportunity to be involved in our community.
I am an attorney and presently represent the Village of Union. I also serve on the boards of Union United, Inc., Keep Cass County Beautiful, Attebery Charitable Foundation and Cass County CASA. When I am not spending time with my family, working or volunteering, I enjoy painting, going to art galleries, and traveling.
