Work together with other community members to complete a community improvement project of your choosing!


Do you have ideas and/or the drive to improve the Village of Union?  Do you support downtown revitalization or bringing more services into town (Meals on Wheels, access to technology, curbside recycling, etc.)?  We need members of the community of all ages and backgrounds to participate in a freee 6-week program to impliment a community improvement project in Union.  Please contact Mindy at 402-890-8287 or editor@unionnebraska.com to sign up for the Union's Leadership Challenge! 

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development will host a kick-off meeting on Thursday, Februrary 25th at 7:00 p.m. and it is our goal to have at least 25 people in attendance.  Each person will receive their own materials, refreshments and childcare will be provided if needed!  Do not let this opportunity pass you by!

Join Union's Bible Study!

All are welcome to join this group study of the final steps of Jesus on his final day (the Last Supper, Crucifiction, etc.) on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. at the Union United Methodist Church (2nd & B St.) There will be light refreshments and child care can be provided if needed!  For more information, please contact Judy at  judyat@windstream.net or 235-3900.

*NOT recyclable-Glass is currently not recyclable in our community

There will be a recycling trailer located in downtown Union approximately every three weeks.  Everyone is welcome to place their recylable items in the trailer and there is no need to sort!  Please support this free and convinient way to recycle in Union!
