Lost Dog
"Our yellow lab "Gunner" has been missing since Nov. 15 he is an intact 90 lb. 3 yr. old male. Gunner is muscular with a large blocky head, his back is a darker yellow with a lighter shade on his underside. He was last spotted the evening he went missing around 22nd and F st in South Omaha. We share our lives with both of Gunner's parents and have had him since birth. He is our baby and our lives are devastated without him. We have tried everything our resources allow to find him. I have been on TV, in the newspaper [an article about him and in the want ads], craigslist, fliers and poster size signs. I've driven and walked hundreds of miles throughout the surrounding neighborhoods without any luck. We've even spoken to a pet communicator. We are convinced someone has him and either don't want to give him up or somehow haven't been reached by our efforts. If you are a pet owner or animal lover please help us spread the word. If everyone reading this would check in their own block, and then pass our story along to family members, co-workers, other students, people at church, even friends on Facebook asking them to check their own blocks and to also pass Gunner's story along, maybe then through the help of a caring community we will be able to bring him home. Any information leading to his safe return will be rewarded, held confidential, and greatly appreciated. We can be reached by email at: bringgunnerhome@yahoo.com or by phone at: 402-203-7846 or 402-218-5332 Thank You!"

Please welcome a new community editor in Plattsmouth!
"My name is Kendra Green. I grew up in a very, very, small town in Pennsylvania. I moved to Plattsmouth, Nebraska in July 2006. It was really one of the best moves I have made. I really do enjoy living here. One thing that I like about Plattsmouth is that it has such a 'home town' feel. The people in this city are just so nice and pleasant.
I married my husband, Robert in 2007. We also have a daughter, Emmalynn, who just turned 2. We decided to make Plattsmouth our home and purchased our first house. I work for Cass County, in the Election Office.
I am really honored to be able to serve as the editor for the Plattsmouth Newsletter! If you have a piece of news that you would like me to post in the newsletter, please send it to Editor@Plattsmouthnebraska.com"
And of couse, email me at editor@unionnebraska.com to have any news or events added to the Union website / e-newsletter!
