VILLAGE OF UNION
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
August 29, 2013

The Union Village Board met in special session on August 29, 2013 and was called to order at 7:00pm to review and approve building permit requests for Laura Poirier - 208 Birch Drive and Bill Bescheinen – 111 Rock St.  On roll call:  Hardbarger – Aye, Vidlak – Absent, Boardman – Aye, Seyler – Aye, Brown - Aye.

Seyler motioned to approve Laura Poirier’s deck plans and allow chairman to sign building permit.  2nd by Brown.  By Roll, Trustees votes are as follows: Hardbarger– Aye, Vidlak- Absent, Boardman – Aye, Seyler – Aye, Brown- Aye.  Motion approved.

Hardbarger explained to Bescheinen that the county will need to inspect framing prior to roof replacement and siding.

Boardman motioned to approve Bescheinen’s roof support and roof repair and to allow chairman to sign building permit.  2nd by Brown.  By Roll, Trustees votes are as follows: Hardbarger– Aye, Vidlak- Absent, Boardman – Aye, Seyler – Aye, Brown- Aye.  Motion approved

Seyler motioned to adjourn at 7:08.  2nd by Brown.  Trustees votes are as follows:  Hardbarger– Aye, Vidlak- Absent, Boardman – Aye, Seyler – Aye, Brown- Aye.  Motion approved.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2013, 7pm at the ALA Hall.  The Meeting Notice and Agenda will be posted for the public at the Village Office, the Union Branch of the Nehawka Bank, and the Union Post Office.
