Johnson’s Gas N Go is changing supplier to CENEX and will no longer be extending credit accounts. Johnson included a CENEX fleet application for credit. CLERK REPORT – The clerk received a 3rd information request for the FEMA siren grant application. All information updated and new application and documents sent to FEMA. The clerk completed her 8 hours on continuing education as required by the State Auditor’s office. Village Maintenance Report – Heyen reported 970,000 gallons of water pumped, for a total of 166 hours. The lift station pumped 2,076,00 gallons of wastewater. Board discussed the continued groundwater infiltration. Heyen told the Board he feels the infiltration helps keep the proper levels in the Lagoons. Fire Report- No attendee Union United Inc. Report: Annual golf tournament is scheduled for August 27th. New Business: Olsson representative unable to brief the Board on Water System assessment due to COVID. Update postponed until August meeting. The Board discussed unabated nuisances and asked the clerk to send letters asking for an abatement timeline from the residents with nuisance problems, or they can attend the August Board meeting to show cause as to why the requested abatement hasn’t been completed. Vidlak motioned to pass Resolution 22-02: League Association of Risk Management 2022-23 Renewal. The Board opted for a 2-year commitment and 180 day notice of termination. 2nd by Hill. The budget discussion was postponed until August meeting so clerk will be able to facilitate the discussion. Vidlak motioned to adjourn at 7:15 pm. 2nd by Crook.
