COME ON OVER!

This is the way country music started out, with acoustic instruments, before electricity.  People sat out on the lawn, on the porch, or in a friend’s house and played their instruments together.

Enjoy the originality of music which is still present in many circles of friends.

Come on over and take a spin on our dance floor!
This is a family-friendly venue, so bring the kids, too!  Relax in nice airconditoned comfort and support our concession stand - fresh, popped popcorn, candy bars, soft drinks and bottled water.

2025 08 27 CCMT Fundraiser Sunday

PLEASE READ!

The CORNHUSKER COUNTRY MUSIC THEATER in LOUISVILLE is in the old movie theater location on Main Street, across from the Pinnacle Bank.

The building was generously donated to the Country Music Club back in the 70's, with the stipulation that they highlight country music that is more than 30 years old, (so anything before 1995), at shows twice a month. This was to show appreciation for, and to keep the origins of classic country alive.

Our building is old and needs some much-needed repairs and updating, especially the roof and acoustic- buffering on the auditorium walls. Like many other nonprofits, the CCMT is struggling to keep our heads above water and would appreciate your attendance in helping to accomplish our goals.

If you're a musician, would you consider donating your time and talent to do a show, please? We welcome full bands, solos, duets and any genre of 'country', i.e. honky-tonk, western, folk, bluegrass, etc. We have a large, plug-n-play, barn-style stage for your enjoyment, and a dance floor. Being a struggling nonprofit, we don't have funds to pay you for your time, but please accept our sincere gratitude for your generous donation of yours.

We're family-friendly and very affordable, too! We welcome young people to discover and, hopefully, encourage them to appreciate classic country music! Kids under 12 get in free, with an accompanying adult. We don't serve alcohol, but have a well-stocked concession stand! Our auditorium also has the original theater-seating, too!

The show on Sunday, September 7th, is a trial-run for possibly more Sunday afternoon shows when daylight-saving time ends. We also have Saturday evening shows twice each month, as well as two jam sessions, one acoustic, one electric, a couple of times each month, so bring your instrument and come on over!

We're also needing volunteers, other than musicians, to help keep this running. We'd love to see the younger generations get involved and we welcome your ideas! Volunteering like this helps to keep our small towns and villages alive and thriving!

If you're interested, have some good ideas, or want more info, just whistle! Check out our webpage at www.https://cornhuskercountry.com, drop us a note at cornhuskercountrymusic1@gmail.com, or you can call Larry at 402-949-0668.

Please mark your calendars for September 7th, then bring your friends and hop on over to Louisville for a great afternoon of some good ol' country music! See ya then!

JAM SESSIONS:
